The Farmyard

The farmyard will feature a lively mix of livestock and sheep competitions, equestrian chases, dog trials and other agricultural displays.

Breeds which will be considered in the cattle competitions include Aberdeen Angus, Hereford, Simmental, Charollais, Holstein Fresian, and a commercial cattle section.

In the sheep competitions judges will consider Suffolk, Vendeen, Texan, Charolais, Jacob and Belclare breeds  In the commercial sheep section they will also judge best pair of butchers store lambs, best pair factory lambs, best pair crossbred ewes suitable for breeding, best group consisting of pedigree registered ram plus two non pedigree ewes and best lamb any breed or crossbreed exhibited by a child under 14.
