The Farmers Field at Flavours is where it all started.
Fourteen years ago a small livestock competition and a few artisan food producers held the first of what would turn out to be the biggest county show in the country. Year on year the show has grown and improved and this year will be no different.
There will be a huge display of cattle and sheep on Saturday and Sunday, with some of the best prize money on the showing circuit up for grabs. Our Poultry tent will have a display and competition of the finest of local fowl and lots of displays of other animals including cattle,sheep and goats.
On Saturday 4th of July:
We have our Beef competitions including All Ireland Calf Championship, Breeders Choice, Young Handlers and Pedigree Cattle classes.
We have our Commercial Sheep Classes.
A new Poultry Sale is also happening in the Farmers Field.

On Sunday 5th of July:
We have our Dairy competitions including the Patton Cup and the very prestigious RDS Silver Medal.
We have our Native Irish Cattle Breeds Classes.
In our Poultry tent we will have our Poultry Show featuring Hard/Soft Feather, Bantam, Waterfowl and Farmyard.
We are hosting a Pygmy Goats Competitions, and a Young Handler class.
Donie Anderson will be back again with his faithful dogs and their geese to do sheepdog displays.
We will have our usual display of farm machinery supplied by the local farm machinery dealers and our Arts and Crafts Marquee will have an array of amazing hand crafted products.
As usual we will have our Fingal Farmers Artisan Food Hall with a huge display of amazing locally produced foods which can be sampled and purchased and cookery displays using great local produce.
In the Horticultural Tent will be a huge display of local baking, flower arranging and the best of local home grown produce.
